How did that hapen? Well... Good morning, Readers!
Today I was going to profile another writer in my family, proving I come by it honestly. Alas, between correcting The Summer Bird (which I still haven't finished) and trying to organise a launch party (despite not really wanting to), get ready for Can-Con 2013 (which is just two weeks away) and organise everything for Geek Market (which is less than a month away), I haven't been able to find the time to compose something suitable.
Couple that with the return to training four nights a week (last night of the week tonight. Yay!), and it seems my ability to function like a regular human being has been greatly reduced.
For example, I was supposed to send a file to a friend last night. I completely forgot. Remembering I hadn't done it, I resolved to send it before I left the house this morning. I was halfway to work when it hit me that I hadn't sent it. Sorry Tom! I'll send it tonight. Hopefully.
As if I'm not busy enough, I have something in the works that I'm quite excited about, but can't really talk about yet until everything is finalised and set up. That said, does anyone have a really good digital camera and microphone that they can lend me indefinitely? No? Well, alternatively, does anyone know where I can purchase a great camera and microphone set relatively inexpensively? What about lights? How about goblets? Yes, you heard right. Goblets. I need three. I'll also take Viking-style mead horns...
I don't actually think anyone has this stuff to lend out, but there's no harm in asking, right
There are things afoot, and I really want them to be done well. In happy news, the people I know seems really down with helping me out in this new, secret endeavour. I hope it all works out and I can actually do it.
I may have just jinxed it talking about it now, but I'm just so damned excited, and really awful at keeping secrets!
Confused? Intrigued? Good!
Now I'm going to leave youall guessing and get to work. I'll hopefully have the new, clean version of The Summer Bird ready for upload in all formats this evening.
